PRAYER – COMMUNICATION

Isn’t it quite remarkable how you can click into a social media network and find out about long lost friends, catch up with family and stay in touch with a baby’s first steps and a niece’s graduation? I was amazed when I could talk to school friends simultaneously that had moved to four different continents.

Communication is such a vital part of life ... it comes quite naturally. The key to communication is not just the “talking”, but it is the “understanding” that brings the richness into the relationship, as Mrs. Linda pointed out to me a number of years ago.

When we understand God’s heart for people, yes - all our “friends” all over the world, we realize that He created us - He wants to talk to us - He wants us to understand His ways of thinking that are so righteous and unselfish, and extend right into the future.

Isaiah 55:8-9 (Amp)
For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

God sees us, He sees our friends, He knows exactly where we are and what is really going on deep within us. He sees beyond what we purport to the world. I have received requests to pray for others, and really do. My secret is to pray IMMEDIATELY for the person requesting the prayer. We are called to be intercessors for others, no matter “where in the world” they are!

For I know their works and their thoughts. And the time is coming when I will gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.

Hallelujah! Think about the intercession that the USA has made for the world. America has sent more missionaries to preach the Gospel of the Good News - Jesus is Resurrected - than any other country! Please hold on to your evangelistic, intercessory strength that you have held for centuries! Thank you for standing for God’s Word! Thank you for doing God’s Word! Thank you for interceding for people who’s faces you have not see, or voices you have not heard, for financing the gospel for people you may never embrace.

As Christ’s ambassadors, as His children, as His voice, hands and feet - let’s pray for those who don’t have the ability to call on the Lord. Stand - Speak - Bring Salvation by your prayers of intercession. You are a vital part of God’s Body - wherever you are.

On a personal note, a momentous occasion is occurring because people stood in the gap for my family. We are becoming American citizens because Dr. Robb and Mrs. Linda petitioned and intervened on our behalf. Our heritage is changing, our lives will influence more people for the gospel on this soil. Mark and I humbly and gratefully thank you, Ps. Robb and Mrs. Lin. Thank you all who have prayed for us to get to this place :-)

May the lost of our countries come to know Jesus as Lord and Savior. May we intercede for all in our leadership, nation, community and families. May Jesus be Lord as we are obedient to the calling to “pray at all times..."
