Happy NEW Year!

NEW... Having been made or come into being only a short time ago; recent; still fresh; never used or worn before now; just found, discovered, or learned; not previously experienced or encountered; different from the former or the old; recently obtained or acquired; additional; further; recently arrived or established in a place, position, or relationship; changed for the better; being the later or latest in a sequence; rejuvenated; currently fashionable; In the most recent form, period, or development ...

Sometimes you get tired of your old sweaters, black boots or old scarf and you just want something NEW! I just bought a cool NEW shirt for my darling Mark. God feels the same way - He wants to do something NEW in and through you ... are you game?

Isaiah 43:18-20 (NKJV)
“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a NEW thing, NOW it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert."

Let’s seek the Lord and trust Him during our prayer time to do something NEW in us. Trust Him for a NEW attitude, for a NEW understanding of our responsibilities, a NEW way to show respect and honor to people, a NEW vision and a NEW desire to do His will, coupled with NEW strength to do it.

Romans 4:17 (NLT)
That is what the Scriptures mean when God told him, “I have made you the father of many nations.” This happened because Abraham believed in the God who brings the dead back to life and who creates NEW things out of nothing.

Decide and decree that you will pray to the Lord God Amighty daily, that you will intercede and pray for HIS WILL to be done every day in your life, your husband’s life, your children’s lives, your Pastor and those around you. Let God do a NEW thing in you!

Plan to fast a meal - some things only become NEW by fasting! (Matthew 17:21).

Prayer sharpens things around us. It is a direct channel of power to God, and only through God. We have NO power aside from Him. So answer the call and walk in the perfect will of God.

1 Kings 8:58-60 (NLT)
"May he give us the desire to do his will in everything and to obey all the commands, decrees, and regulations that he gave our ancestors. And may these words that I have prayed in the presence of the Lord be before him constantly, day and night, so that the Lord our God may give justice to me and to his people Israel, according to each day’s needs. Then people all over the earth will know that the Lord alone is God and there is no other."

Tune in to the Holy Spirit. Listen to His voice, not everyone elses. It will bring NEW results: 1. Spiritual victory 2. Manifestation of His Word. God will give you supernatural victory in the Spirit of Christ, and bring you into the peace and rest of God.

LORD, please do a NEW thing in me, I relinquish the old habits and choose Your NEW way, in Jesus' Name!
