Diana's Mac and Cheese

Diana's Mac and Cheese
2 c. elbow macaroni
salt and pepper to taste
5 Tbs. buttermilk
1 egg beaten
1 can Pet milk
1 c. milk
5 oz. cubed Cheddar cheese
5 oz.
cubed
Colby cheese
5 oz. cubed Monterey Jack cheese (American can be substituted.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 3-quart dish. Cook macaroni (do not overcook); drain and place in casserole dish. In medium saucepan melt butter. Remove pan from heat and stir in cheeses. Add remaining ingredients. Pour over macaroni. Bake 45-60 minutes or until top is golden brown. Let rest 20 minutes before serving.
