Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Lucky's Biscotti By Article @ 9:24 PM :: 6 Views :: Italian, Cookies   1/2 lb. butter, softened 2 c. sugar 6 eggs 2 t. almond extract 1/2 t. salt 4 t/ baking powder 4 c. flour 2 1/2 c. chopped toasted almonds Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time. Add vanilla, dry ingredients and nuts. with a tablespoon make 2 logs on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes. Test with toothpick to see if done. If pick is moist, leave in the oven for a few more minutes. When cool, slice and return to oven cut side down to brown 10-12 minutes.
