There are many things you could do with these ides to have fun with your family, a small or large group of people.

I hope you enjoy these ideas. They could be fun to do with your family or a friend. It doesn’t take much to get rid of the boredom of life. It is important to do things together with others and to break out of the normal mold.

For Aviation History Day

You could ask everyone to dress like old time pilots, modern day pilots, or flight attendants.
Have old model airplanes hanging for decorations or try to find toy gliders at the store or online.
You could have contests to see whose plane goes the farthest.
Watch clips of the Wright Brothers, Amelia Earhart, Charles Lindbergh, Chuck Yeager and others.
Make your food like portion sizes you would get on an airplane.
Serve little bags of peanuts, raisins and other bagged snack items served on a plane.
If you have a cart, push it around serving drinks.

National Novel Writing Month

If you are supposed to write a novel, article, blog, or anything, make some time to work on it. Otherwise, take the time to read a good novel.

All Saint's Day, November 1

At a family meal ask each member of your family to think of another Christian who has impacted their life. Perhaps you could ask them to think of someone who is alive and/or someone in the Bible.

Sandwich Day, November 3

Make sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner for your family, those you live with or some co-workers. Be creative.

World Kindness Day, November 13

Go out of your way to do extra special kind deeds for people you know and do not know. Get the whole family involved. Maybe you could focus on an individual or go to the mall and just be the doorkeeper for the day.

Cook Something Bold Day

Cook something you have never cooked before or wouldn’t think of trying. Remember you can do all things through Christ which strengthens you.

November 9 is Parade Day

Have a little parade in with your children, neighbors, friends indoors or out.

World Hello Day, November 21

When you go out today, make a decision to say “Hello” to people you know and do not know. Perhaps you could call some people to tell them “Hello” and give them a scripture or pray for them.

USMC Day & Veteran’s Day

Remember someone who is or was in the service. Thank them for laying down their lives.
Perhaps you could visit a veteran’s hospital and bring them some cookies &/or pray and encourage them.
Write a letter or send an email to someone you know in the military. Send them a care package.
Tie yellow ribbons on your trees and put a sign in front of your house thanking veteran’s and active service men and women for serving.

Take A Hike Day, November 17

Make a decision to go for a walk wherever you like. Bring a friend, your spouse, your family, or go by yourself. Enjoy the sights and the fresh air.

Homemade Bread Day, November 17

Make some homemade bread with your children to give away and to have for yourselves. You could freeze it and package it for Christmas to give as gifts for neighbors, teachers, co-workers and friends. Everyone will enjoy the aroma in your house.

Go For A Ride Day, November 22

My Mom used to take us for rides in the car when we were children. It was fun to go out without having a place to go. We just enjoyed the beauty of nature and of the homes in other communities. So pack the kids up in the car or go for a ride with a friend or loved one and enjoy what you see. You could also call an elderly person who does not get out of the house much and see if they would like to go with.

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, November 24

Watch Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer after your Thanksgiving meal with the kids.

Charles M. Schultz Birthday, November 26

Watch the Peanuts Christmas movie in honor of Charles Schulz’s birthday.
