Natural Moisturizers and Toners
These products can be purchased in grocery and health food stores:
Almond Oil Excellent for all skin types, to soften and smooth skin; Helpful in relieving itching, irritation, and inflammation.
Aloe Vera Toner Apply aloe vera gel as a toner. It has healing properties to renew cells and is gentle to the skin.
Apricot Kernel Oil Good for delicate and mature skin; Extremely rich in vitamin A.
Avocado Oil Good for treating skin problems because of its high content of vitamin A and E. Use it for dehydrated or sunburned skin.
Flaxseed Oil High in vitamin E; Useful in promoting cell regeneration; Use it for treating stretch marks.
Olive Oil Great for body and hair. Maximize the benefits by slightly warming it in the microwave. It is especially beneficial on very dry, cracked skin.
Wheat Germ Oil Excellent on sensitive skin; can be used as both a face and eye gel.
Never use toners containing rubbing alcohol. It strips the skin of natural oils.
Never use a facial moisturizer if you are prone to have sensitive skin.
