How To Maintain Shapely Eyebrows

1. Don’t use wax. The skin around your eye is the thinnest tissue you have.

2. Get a good pair of tweezers with a pointy tip so you can pull out single hairs (not too pointed since it is going near your eye; not blunt because you will pull too many hairs out). It is best to grab one hair at a time so you do not grab too much and pull out more hair than you want.

3. Have good lighting and magnification.
Plucking in daylight is best.

4. Apply toner or an astringent to the brow before tweezing. It takes the oil out of the hair so the tweezers do not slip.

5. Use your natural arch line
. Start tweezing under the natural line. Determine how much hair you want to remove before you start. Do you want your brows to look more natural or thin or somewhere in between?

6. Pluck with a sudden jerk to avoid breaking hair.

7. Tweeze in between your brows. Place your thumb in between your eyes. Whatever hair is there, should be removed.

8. Do not cut your eyebrow hair. It will get wiry.

9. Assess the brow after plucking a few hairs out. Continue to asses brow while plucking so you do not remove too much.
