Simple Decorating Rules
There are so many things to learn about decorating…but what are some simple rules to follow?
• We should always repeat fabrics and colors throughout our room.
• We should never be tempted to put all of our furniture against the walls.
• Though we are all on budgets, buying furniture that is cheap will cause our room to look shabby in no time at all.
• We always need plenty of lighting. We may not want all lights on at all times, but dimmers and select lights used during different events is always possible.
• Oh, we must always change light bulbs when out.
• We need to make sure our color schemes are complimented by accessories…We shouldn’t allow our room to become too lackluster.
• A reminder about pictures…we mustn’t hang them too high.
• Finally, the plants that only have 3 green leaves amidst the brown ones, uummmm, they should be pitched, replaced…but never are they to be a focal point.
